Dümmen Orange organized their Open House in Colombia welcoming more visitors compared to last years. At our trial site at Flores Silvestres, El Carmen, Antioquia growers from Colombia, USA, Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico, Holland and Israel got a nice product presentation of many of our cut chrysanthemum varieties.

At Dümmen Orange we believe in working together with Mother Nature! This is why we use bumblebees for the natural pollination of our plants. Bumblebees are the most effective pollinators because of their furry, fluffy coats. This means their coats easily pick up pollen, and transfer it to other plants. And in addition to being very useful, they are also great to look at!

On August 23, 2013, Bartels Stek (Dümmen Orange) became worldwide distributor of Biological Industries Nurseries’ (BI) Gypsophila varieties for a term of 3 years. Unfortunately, discussions about the terms for renewal of the distribution agreement, have not led to an acceptable outcome for both parties. Therefore, the distribution agreement shall end as of August 23, 2016.
